Hiya, my name's Juno. It's a name I started using last summer, a name that is now synonymous with my creative work.
Nearing the end of 2025 I split off from thirdvision
as a means to prioritize creative documentary projects over commercial freelance work.
Thus, Junofilms was born. I now work as a (mostly solo)
videographer and editor. When the chances pop up, I love collaborating with other creative minds. After all,
there's only so many light stands I feel like carrying all by myself while filming.
From a young age I was pretty engaged with visual arts, and always felt I had some creative energy to give.
While this initially manifested as drawing and playing sandbox video games as a kid, those hobbies simply stayed hobbies.
The day I first picked up a friend's camera though, I was hooked. From 2016 to 2022 I engaged with photography pretty
consistently, and by the summer of 2023 I had found my way into a video production internship that taught me some very
valuable lessons.
Though I had little interest in the commercial nature of most of my work there, the production experience laid the
groundworks for my style of filmmaking. A rough plan, a basic timeline, and half a car full of gear.
Where does that car venture off to? Wherever I can find a story or character worth documenting.
People with unique masteries, interests, or beautiful words that deserve to be spoken. Those are the people I'd like to feature.
I find the most joy being able to fully focus on the image. Let me scout the location, set up my lights and flags, mount the camera.
Let me pour my heart into the film, so you can pour yours into the story.
So what's the goal? I have yet to determine what grand project I want to have define me, or what products of art I want to
leave behind when my days are over. Day by day, project by project I slowly fly closer to what is important to me.
Someday, I look forward to telling myself I can be proud of what I've created, and what it was able to mean to people. Until
that day comes, I will look to the sky, and enjoy both the sun and the clouds I soar past.
